Peaches Geldof’s Funeral will be held in the same church as her mother’s

Peaches, Bob Geldof and Paula Yates’ daughter was found dead at her home on April the 7^th. Peaches’ funeral will be held on Easter Monday at the same church as her mother Yates’ took place, and will be a private affair. 

The 25 year old model and TV presenter was also married, to musician Tom Cohen, father of her two children, at the same Kent church.

Though her death is being treated as “non-suspicious, unexplained, and sudden”, a post mortem examination, including toxicology tests are being carried out to establish the cause of death.

In 2000 she lost her mother to accidental heroin overdose when she was only 11. She is reported to have tweeted a picture of her mother and herself as a child titled “me and my mum” on the day before her death.

She has been to have spoken about her struggle to deal with her parents’ break-up when she was 7 and has also confessed to experimenting with drugs in her adolescence.

She said: “I’m not sure I’ve yet fully made peace with my childhood, but with my mum I have come to terms with everything”. “She had a really difficult time. There are so many parallels between us. Now I can understand everything. “I think you have to experience hardships and pain yourself to fully understand people who have been through it, and also you can never really experience happiness unless you’ve had that down feeling too”. “Sometimes it’s enjoyable to be a bit depressive, I think.”

She is succeeded by her husband Tom Cohen and her two children, Astala, 23 months old, and Phaedra, 11 months old.
