Britain’s Got Talent dancer Paddy Jones and her partner Nico Espinosa have been forced to withdraw from this year’s competition due to an injury.
The duo 79, Paddy and 40, Nico were the first act to directly go through to the live semi-finals with the Golden Buzzer. Their high-energy performance wowed Judge Amanda Holden who immediately pressed the Gold Buzzer once the act was over.
Paddy suffered an injury and the duo is now out of BGT 2014.
This is what was said by a spokesperson, “After seeking medical advice, Paddy will not be able to perform in the semi-final. Unfortunately because of this Paddy and Nico have had to withdraw from the competition.”
Paddy began dancing 10 years ago after the death of her husband. The jaw-dropping spins and lifts she performed left everyone watching in pure amazement.
This is what Paddy said a few weeks ago, “I am flabbergasted to have got this far. I am not expecting the impossible. I am ploughing ahead with it and enjoying it as much as I can.”
