Matt Cutts from Google has somewhat confirmed via Twitter that Google has cracked down on another guest blogging network. The latest network was PostJoint which claimed to have “no footprints”. Someone tweeted that PostJoint has been penalized, and Matt Cutts confirmed this on Twitter this morning saying “any link or guest blog network that claims to have “zero footprints” is waving a giant red flag.”
Another site to feel Google’s wrath of late has been MyBlogGuest, also a large guest blogging network. No statement from PostJoint about the penalty has been seen as of yet.
Both sights have talked back to Matt Cutts early on about guest blogging and how it is done. PostJoint went so far as to explain how it differs from MyblogGuest after it had been penalized. Apparently it is not different enough.
PostJoint, like MyBlogGuest, did respond to Matt Cutts early on about the way guest blogging is done. And then after MyBlogGuest was penalized, PostJoint highlighted the differences between them and MyBlogGuest. I guess there weren’t enough differences.
