A new Inspiron 7000 Series has been announced by Dell from the Computex trade show in Taipei.
The two in one device primarily acts as a laptop running Windows 8.1, which can easily be folded to double as a tablet. The display is fully touchscreen and combines with the touch-focused Windows 8.1 experience, which makes a seamless use of it as both a quick access tablet and a working laptop with keyboard.
The display can be described as up to Full HD at 1920×1080 resolution. A passive stylus also comes with the device for any pen or touch needs. The slate is powered by a fourth generation Intel Core processor and additional features can be added depending on the user’s needs. One option is a backlit keyboard.
All Dell Inspiron products come with 20GB of free Dropbox storage as standard and other specifications will be released close to the product’s launch in the UK in September. During that time is also when the price will be revealed.
