For all those who love to shower but hate towel drying afterwards a new invention is in town: The Body Dryer.
The Body dryer which looks like a bathroom scales dries you from the bottom up. It shoots air up to rid the body of excess water water. It primes itself on getting rid of all the bacteria that would otherwise accumulate on a standard towel.
The machine uses forces
ionized air
which can be set to cold or hot. The company behind the device hopes to make the device standard not only in households but also in gyms and other high traffic shower zones.
The retail selling price set for a single device is $250, but backers can pre-order theirs for only $125 while the campaign to raise funds goes on on Indiegogo. The company has already raised $30000 of the $50000 it needs to hit production.
Estimated drying time is 30 seconds from start to finish though variance may happen based on height.
Shipping on the devices is scheduled to start in September.
