Microsoft Office to Be Released For Android Tablets

It has been announced by Microsoft that it is working on a tablet particular version of Office for Android.

Even though the productivity suite has been available for Android smartphones free since last year, tablet users are now going to get a version that is optimised for them.

It has been said by Microsoft that Office for Android tablets will release officially later this year. In the meantime, the company is inviting participants to play with a pre-release of the software via a special program.

You can easily get early access and register to the pre-released version of Office for Android tablets via Microsoft’s SharePoint website, regardless if you are an individual or a company.

All applications are accepted during the next several weeks.

An interface that is similar to the one found on Office for Android is also reported to be coming with the software, as well as a touch-optimised version of Office for Windows, which is also reported to be coming during early 2015.

In addition, a new version of Office for mac is also said to arrive in 2014.
