Chinese television aired incredible footage of a street vendor who caught a baby the moment he fell from a second-storey window ledge, in Southern China during a thunderstorm.
Apparently, the infant wandered out searching for his mother.
The vendor, who is named Mr Li, saw what was happening and immediately ran over to catch the baby, then reunited him with his mother.
“I didn’t think too much at the time. I was just afraid of failing to catch him,” he said.
Some people also put down cardboards to avoid serious injuries to the baby, just in case Mr Li failed to catch him.
