In the rich snippets – organizational help document, Google has added a line saying it will now support any of its sub-types. Below is the new line that has been added to the document:
“In addition to the schema.org/Organization type, Google supports any of its sub-types, such as schema.org/Attorney.”
This means Google now supports these sub-types under the following organization type:
- Corporation
- PerformingGroup
- SportsTeam
- EducationalOrganization
- NGO
- GovernmentOrganization
- LocalBusiness
Within each of these, there are also additional sub-types, which Google will also support. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- EmploymentAgency
- RadioStation
- RealEstateAgent
- RecyclingCenter
- SelfStorage
- ShoppingCenter
- HealthAndBeautyBusiness
- HomeAndConstructionBusiness
- EntertainmentBusiness
- FinancialService
- FoodEstablishment

- ChildCare
- SportsActivityLocation
- Store
- TelevisionStation
- TouristInformationCenter
- GovernmentOffice
