Recently, there has been a trace of an early possible Google update on forums, social media spaces and from gossip at Web Master World.
Some are even tracking this closely and have also revealed some information about an upcoming update.
Google has said that the update is not Penguin or any spam quality control change.
However, the feeling has come that Google is testing a new Penguin refresh, which may be rolling out slowly. However, it could also be something else.
Last week the Panda 4.0 was released and before that, a Spam Algorithm update took place.
Before that, it was reported on ranking shifts that Google did deny this in spite of all the signs of an update.
